A short stay with light use, checking messages and maps a handful of times a day, fits comfortably into a 1GB or 3GB fixed data plan. A short stay with heavier use, such as continuous navigation or video calls, sits more naturally on a 1 day or 3 day unlimited plan, since these are sold by the day, with a fair use policy that reduces speed past a daily amount. For longer trips, the 30-day option in each line, 50GB fixed or unlimited, covers a full stay without a second purchase midway.
